2007 Dakar Rally

January 3rd 2007 our team of photojournalits began an arduous journey pursuing 700 racing motorcycles, autos, buggys, and specialized race trucks from Lisbon, Portugal to Dakar, Senegal. It was the last race in Africa and exhausting, thrilling, dangerous - though we were not (often) on the race course.

The Dakar Rally covered 14.000 km in 18 days and bivouaced in Er Rachidia, Ouarzazate, Tan Tan, Zouerat Atar, Tichit, Kayes, Tambacounda... vivid memories.
